A single signal colour means “active”. Every square is a real control, every column a moment in time. The same sixteen-step logic shapes the mark, the interface, and the visual rhythm.

The instrument keeps all sixteen steps on a phone, in a horizontally scrollable score. Interaction remains tap-first, with no drag-only controls.
